Had new tires put on my wife?s car. Next day she had a 3 hour drive. She called from highway to tell me back tire was making weird noise. I told her to pull off and get it checked. The tire wasn?t even tightened, and could have flew off at any moment at 80 mph. Called Tire Barn and left a very calm message, explaining how dangerous this is. NO RESPONSE. Called a few days later to follow up and the person I talked to was dismissive and provided zero follow up after. Things happen, I get it. All I wanted was verification that the person who failed at their job was informed, so nobody in the future gets a serious injury or worse. Apparently that was too much for them. We also had to pay for another alignment when it was checked by a reputable place since the wheel almost fell off. Stay away, unless you like to live dangerously. UPDATE: their ?solution? was for me to call a number, where I was on hold for almost an hour, and STILL received no verification this egregious and dangerous situation THEY created will be addressed. They provided ZERO empathy/understanding why someone might be a little concerned that a possible high speed accident due to their negligence from their staff almost occurred. I was sent a certificate for $30 towards my next service at a store I clearly would never go to again. I have zero desire for any compensation. A simple ?oh my gosh, we are so sorry, that shouldn?t have happened. Here is what I will do to ensure it doesn?t again, etc? would have sufficed. I will now be in touch with corporate since simple accountability was not displayed. UPDATE: I have patiently waited two months now for someone from Tire Barn to take accountability and share what steps will be taken to avoid potential dangerous conditions for customers due to their negligence. That?s all I wanted. Instead, I just got to wait on hold for an hour to talk to a third party rep not even employed by Tire Barn themselves. This is laughably horrible customer service, and I guess legal action is the next step, since an apology and acknowledgement of creating unsafe conditions was too much for them.
